Our small Hamilton based company is looking for new staff member to help with the increased workload.
Our main focus is the contracted repairs, servicing and maintenance of NZ Fire Appliances throughout the greater Waikato.
We provide a clean, tidy well equipped workshop in Te Rapa, Hamilton.
The successful applicant would require:
To be a NZ Certified, Diesel or Petrol mechanic.
Be able to work unsupervised either in our workshop or out onsite.
Hold a clean Class 2 minimum NZ Heavy Truck license.
WOF Certified would be an advantage.
The applicant will carry out the duties of a mechanic, able to work on all makes of trucks, cars and portable equipment.
Training is provided where necessary. fire pumps are our specialty so pump operation and repair training will be provided.
Our normal work hours are 7.00am to 5.00pm. staff are able to work 8 hours per day within those hours.
Overtime is not a requirement but is available to staff from time to time.
You would be required to be part of our rostered after hours callout team, working one week in four or five if required to attend after hours breakdowns.
a separate remuneration is paid for this. You would join our small team of staff members who work and relate well with each other.
