Fire Pumps

Protech has been servicing, testing and repairing fire pumps for the New Zealand Fire Service for many years.  We are based in Hamilton, Where we hold the Maintenance contract for the NZFS in the greater Waikato region to provide service, repair and testing of all fire appliances in our region.

Our staff are trained to repair and test all fire pumps, both portable and appliance-mounted.

We have one Fixed Pump Test Facility and two Mobile Test units. With these and our own hose and test equipment we are able to test all types of pump on site or at our Hamilton based workshop.

Backed by pump manufactures from around the world, we can provide expert advice and we are in perfect position to supply and fit any parts required or make adjustments to valves and glands as required.

Protech Automotive Ltd uses NRFA standards set out by New Zealand Fire Service and National Rural Fire Authority to ensure our current Fire Pump Testing meets the requirements for these vital organisations.

Electronic reporting

We provide an Electronic report to you showing current pump performance and the manufacturer specs and limits. We offer expert advise on maintenance for your specific pump based on these test results.
